About
My path to the social work program was unique because I took a break to raise my two incredible children. Those years as a mother taught me so much, from patience and understanding to the art of multitasking. I've learned first-hand about family dynamics, the challenges many face, and the importance of support and community.
When I decided to dive back into school, it was no walk in the park. Balancing lessons, exams, and family duties was challenging, but I'm proud to say I've kept up a 4.0 GPA throughout this journey. I believe that being a mother has added a richness to my studies, helping me connect the theories I learn in class to real-world situations.
