About

I am currently pursuing a liberal arts degree in Theater Studies at Wesleyan University. I have just completed a semester abroad at Trinity College Dublin, where I studied Drama, English and History. I am one of the core staff members who run Second Stage, Wesleyan's student-run theater company. My positions within Second Stage have included Managing Liaison (the leader of staff, who conducts staff meetings, creates the master budget, and represents Second Stage to the Theater Department, administration, and greater community), Outreach and Development (who resolves conflicts, organizes workshops led by professional artists, and creates staff policy), and website management. In addition, I founded and run Second Stage's student playwriting initiative, which performs new works by Wesleyan students. My professional experiences include internships with The Assembly Theater in New York, a research internship in experimental music with a Wesleyan professor in London, the Apollo Theater, and the Jewish Museum in New York. My awards are mainly in playwriting: my plays were selected for the National Conference at Stephen Sondheim's Young Playwrights Inc. in 2015 and 2016 and for the Blank Theatre Company Young Playwrights Festival in 2010 and 2013.
