I am currently a freshman attending the University of Wisconsin Madison studying chemical engineering. I am from Southwest High School in Green Bay, Wisconsin. In high school, I participated in cross country, basketball, and track, along with being involved with the American Red Cross and my school's science academic team.

Goals and interests
- Career goal
Excelling and being passionate in math and science have always led me in the direction of a career in engineering. Unsure of what type of engineering I wanted to go into, I went into first semester keeping my options open. During my first semester on campus, it became clear to me that I would be best suited with a career in chemical engineering. Chemical engineering combines all of my interests, the physical sciences, life sciences, mathematics, and economics, with the purpose to produce, transfer, and use various types of materials and substances. Being only a freshman, I am keeping an open mind to discovering what what more specific areas of this field will be of particular interest to me.
