Alba Melendez

In 2013, I graduated from South Houston High School and in the Fall of 2013 I stared my first semester in college. I said to myself if I like it, I will continue, but if not, I will drop. Fortunately, I did like it and I wanted to continue my education until I became a doctor. My plans are to finish the 2 years Medical Imaging program at San Jacinto College and after that, I want to work for a while then I will come back to school to continue my major in order to become a Neurology doctor and that will take another 8 years to complete. I’m very passionate in continuing my education and make my dream to become a doctor come true. My mother is very happy to see how I’m very interested to finish my major and be the first in my family to graduate with the highest degree.
