An internship in this field involves doing research, working on projects, and teaching to help make communities healthier and better. The goal is to make sure everyone, no matter their gender, race, age, religion, or how much money they have, has fair access to things that make them healthy and happy.

How can community-based interventions effectively prevent infectious diseases and cancer while improving maternal and infant health in developing countries and underserved communities?
