For the last four years, my cheerleading team and I have helped support runners in the Millrace Marathon. Years ago, we used signs to cheer them on and help them persevere. This past year, we helped coordinate water cup stations and handed them to runners as they passed by. This volunteering position occurs annually on our cheer team, therefore this past September was the last year I will partake in it.
