About

I am a Counseling major with a passion for clinical mental health, specializing in relationship dynamics, trauma healing, and personal transformation. With a background in massage therapy, wellness, and leadership, I bring a holistic understanding of the mind-body connection to my future work as a clinical therapist. My long-term goal is to earn a master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and eventually facilitate group, couple, and healing retreats that promote emotional growth and healthy connections. I aspire to work for an organization that offers both in-person and remote therapeutic services, and I am dedicated to supporting individuals and families in creating non-toxic, fulfilling lives. Driven, empathetic, and purpose-led, I am committed to evolving into a transformative therapist who empowers others to heal, grow, and thrive.

Goals and interests

Career goal

I am pursuing a career as a licensed clinical therapist with a focus in counseling. My goal is to work with an innovative organization that offers both in-person and remote therapy options. I aspire to facilitate group sessions, couples counseling, and eventually lead healing-focused retreats that promote personal growth, connection, and emotional well-being.

Graduate school interests

I plan to pursue a Master’s degree in Counseling or Clinical Mental Health Counseling, with a focus on marriage, family, and relationship therapy. I am particularly interested in programs that offer training in trauma-informed care, group counseling, and therapeutic retreat facilitation. Long term, I’m considering a doctoral program that would allow me to expand into areas such as sex therapy, holistic wellness, and potentially gain the ability to prescribe medications (depending on the credential path, such as a PsyD or PhD with appropriate licensure).
