Myteshia Cheese

I am a dedicated student and proud mother, currently completing multiple associate degrees and certificates with High Honors at Santa Monica College, maintaining a 3.94 GPA. As a single mother of a nonverbal autistic daughter, I face daily challenges that have only deepened my determination to succeed. Despite being unhoused, I have remained committed to my education, balancing full-time coursework with caregiving responsibilities. Joining the honor society is not only a recognition of my academic efforts, but a step toward my long-term goal of building a stable, impactful career in healthcare or public service, where I can support others facing adversity.
