About

I have an Associates Degree in Arts (Art & Design) with a strong foundation in drawing, painting, creative problem-solving, collaborations, and leadership roles. Throughout my academic career, I have cultivated a portfolio of work that shows my ability to produce excellent visual imagery. I have had multiple works displayed at school events, selected to feature in the Kings River Review 2024 Fall edition magazine, displayed at the Philadelphia convention center (for the Achieving dreams conference), and have been selected as a recipient of the Anthony Roque Memorial Scholarship award for college art.

I create realistic paintings and drawings but recently, I’ve begun to explore surrealism and I really enjoy it. I love being able to visually show how I perceive the things around me with certain elements that wouldn’t necessarily be seen in the real world. I would describe my paintings as visually autobiographical. I share my experiences as an artist through my work. I like to show the things that drive me to create and the things that make it difficult. I’m not necessarily the best at talking to new people and often find it difficult to put my thoughts into words. However, I genuinely enjoy connecting with others and I feel like the perfect way of doing that is through my work. I love how so much can be said through art without words. To me, art feels like a conversation and a universal connection.
