Nicole Kleinert

Technology within libraries is hugely important in our field. I want to obtain my degree in order to better serve my community in this growing world of technology and focus on accessibility. I believe all patrons should be able to access services, materials, and comfort of any library establishment.

I am mostly interested and focused on technology within libraries. I believe that in order to survive in our current cultural climate all library students and staff must be knowledgeable of all resources available. The focus of my degree is to better understand how technology and web presence can positively and negatively influence a library.

In my free time I am actively involved in painting, drawing, and ceramic work. I love to organize and create new spaces. Taking on new projects in my academic, professional, and home life gives me purpose and drive. I am always exploring and try to learn something new everyday.
