About

I am currently an Art student at the University of Iowa in Iowa City, IA. I am studying animation to work alongside large animation companies such as Pixar and Dreamworks to eventually earn my way up to a leadership position. Ever since I was a child, Pixar had inspired me to love the science and artistic care behind each production. During these early times, I have also devoted my learning in illustration, painting, and graphic design to diversify my skills as an aspired practicing artist. With this collective knowledge, I was able to lead a handful of artistic opportunities such as developing designs for album covers, as well as a logo for an independent company who sold and repaired vintage vehicles. My love for art goes beyond to what my major and interests entail, as I have always exceeded my comforts with curiosity for experience. I chose to go to the University of Iowa because of their strong art program. Their diverse classes of the arts have enriched my passion to strive for independent studies and volunteer work. With hard work, relentless determination, and versed skills in the arts and animation I aim to succeed and change in any way I can.

Goals and interests

Career goal

I am currently studying to become an animator for animation companies such as Pixar and Dreamworks. I plan to produce and supervise animation projects for large films. I am focused on concentrating my major of art and animation on animation industries.

Graduate school interests

After I complete my bachelors degree I plan to get my masters in Animation.

Outside the classroom

I enjoy to use my time on painting and drawing. I have a strong muse for producing subjective and non-objective pieces that delve in psychological aspects of the human being. I also use charcoal, pastel, graphite, and ink mediums for life pieces. I also like to spend my time composing music for my animation shorts, using my violin and other instruments to produce musical themes and jingles.
