Predominantly short, self-published works not available in a physical format.Model Painting
~2 hours per week
Constructing and painting 28mm miniatures as an exercise in hand-eye coordination, patience, and creativity.Independent Research
~10 hours per week
Currently investigating common beliefs, traditions, and motifs in religions worldwide with a focus on pre-Christian Europe and East Asia
Overarching goal is to identify a ‘master list’ of traditions present in the overwhelming majority of religions as well as variations on shared elements and the reasoning behind their presence and spread across cultures.Culture & Language
I am fluent in Hindi and a practicing Hindu with a strong grasp of North Indian culture and traditions, which has provided me with a different worldview and moral system than the majority of Americans who have a Christian/Humanist foundation.
I visit India for about a month every summer, and volunteer regularly at one of the local temples.
