Goals and interests
- Career goal
It's been my goal for as long as I can remember to become a teacher who can help students develop an appreciation for learning, just like my teachers have. Specifically, I'm hoping to become a high school English teacher.
- Graduate school interests
I would love to pursue a graduate degree, but it would have to make sense alongside my teaching career. Something like the Bread Loaf School of English really appeals to me, since it's a summer program focused on education, creative writing, and theater (all academic interests of mine).
- Outside the classroom
I really enjoy reading and writing, especially in fantasy and mystery genres. I also enjoy participating in various arts (visual art, music, theatre arts). I also like to bake a lot, and I'm quite famous among my friends and family for it, especially for my fudge, and I'll take any chance to do some archery.
