Goals and interests
- Career goal
My intended Job Path; I've always wanted to be a special education teacher. Having my foot in the door as a Special Education teacher/Inclusion teacher, I have the best of both worlds. I not only get to help support my SPED students but also the general ed students as well.
- Graduate school interests
Being in grad school is an extra bonus. Not only does it help with increasing with the pay scale, but it has challenged me in so many ways. I'm a 56yr old mother with a 19-year-old and a 13 year old. I work full-time plus I still go to school. Being in grad school has made me a better student and teacher. My own children admire my persistence and determination. We compare grades!
- Outside the classroom
I love walking/hiking. I love all kinds of craft but my specialty is wrapping gifts and making DIY activities. My husband and I love to go window shopping and go early to the farmers market.
