Paisley Jessup

Hello, My Name is Paisley Jessup. I am currently enrolled at North Carolina Agricultural and Teachnical State University. I am a Junior, Elementary Education Major. I have a GPA of a 2.78 working to increase that as work into my senior year and getting accepted into the Teacher Education Program. I have attended A&T for 3 years, I was a transfer student for North Carolina Central University where I started out my college education. During my second year at A&T I was inducted into Kapha Delta Phi, a National Honor Society for educators. Currently still a member. This year I am working on starting my own mentoring program which helps young girls build their confidence, self esteem, empower themselves and others and also to build friendships. I've always been a mentor and have inspired young girls with the things that I do so I thought what better way to start a mentoring program. As I wind down to my last year in college I have set a lot of goals for myself. Upon graduation I plan to have a great job in a good school system in my field. I plan to teach for a 5-6 years and while teaching get my masters to become a school administrator so that I can better impact a child's life. I plan to expand my mentoring group and live life to the fullest.
