About

Hi, My name is Parfait Mangwaka. I am currently a freshman at the University of Texas at San Antonio majoring in Civil Engineering. I was born and raised in the Democratic Republic of Congo. At the age of fourteen my family and I moved in the United States in 2010. I am in a choir and love to sing, I also play hand drums. My principal goal is to graduate with a 4.00 GPA and pursuit a master and a PhD in civil engineering. After achieving my principal goal, I want to achieve my ultimate goal which is to give back to the people by building sustainable infrastructures such as hospitals, research facilities for kids with cancer and heart diseases like myself especially in North and South America, Asia, and especially in Africa where health is a big challenge.
