Paris Curry

My name is Paris Curry and I am majoring in Psychology. It has been my goal throughout my years in high school to impact the lives of others with kindness and compassion. I feel that I have been a positive influence on all those who are around me. During high school I spent my summers as a babysitter. This experience helped me to develop great listening skills, as well as cooking, cleaning, time management, and to become a more responsible and reliable person. I began spending my summers attending William Penn University when I was a junior in high school to get a head start on my college career. I currently attend WPU as a full-time student as freshman. I am eager to major in Clinical Psychology so am transferring to Augsburg College in Minneapolis.
My four years of high school educated me to recognize my love for art, history, and people; I plan to shape my future helping others as a clinical psychologist. I look forward to increasing my knowledge and capability in working with many different aspects of cultural and psychological differences. It is my dream to introduce others to the prominence of their fullest potential. With my leadership abilities I will encourage people to open their minds to other cultures and philosophies. If our world can generate an understanding and appreciation of one another; we will be a solid assortment of people.
