About

I want to create trust with my students by fostering a positive and supportive classroom environment, where students feel safe and encouraged to learn. I want to Inspire a love of learning by engaging students through creative and interactive lessons that will spark curiosity and a lifelong passion for knowledge. I will participate in hands-on activities, real-world examples, and fun projects allowing my students to thrive. I want to promote social-emotional growth by teaching my students valuable skills like conflict resolution and empathy which will help them navigate through social situations as well as build positive relationships with their peers. I will believe in my students as well as support them in as well as out of the classroom. I will go over and beyond for all of my students. Letting students know you see their strengths and believe they can succeed will empower them to reach their full potential. I will build confidence in my students allowing them to know they can accomplish anything. A great teacher lends a hand, opens a mind, and touches a heart. My favorite quote is listed below:
“It is the teacher that makes the difference. Not the classroom.”– Michael Morpurgo

Goals and interests

Career goal

I intend to start out as an elementary classroom teacher preferably a Kindergarten or 1st grade teacher but any grade that the Lord place me in, I would be excited about. Then I would potentially progress into maybe a special education position within the education field through continued education and professional development due to the love I have for all students but especially my struggling students. I want to learn as much as I can to pass down to my students to ensure they all are successful.

Graduate school interests

My grad school interest would be to pursue Special Education which focuses on teaching students with diverse learning needs, disabilities, or behavioral challenges. It will teach me specialized strategies and tools for inclusive classrooms allowing me to ensure that all students have the same learning opportunity to succeed.
