About

I am a high‑achieving third‑year Bachelor of Science student in Pharmaceutical Sciences at Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam, distinguished by strong performance in advanced pharmacology, medicinal chemistry, bio‑analytical chemistry, and clinical research methodology. My academic development is further enriched by an international academic semester at the University at Buffalo, where I deepened my knowledge in integrated and advanced pharmacology, human physiology, and the clinical application of therapeutic principles within a rigorous scientific curriculum.

Goals and interests

Career goal

My intended career path combines two complementary professional directions: clinical pharmacy and the role of a Medical Science Liaison (MSL). Both fields align with my strengths in scientific analysis, patient‑centered thinking, and evidence‑based communication.

As a future clinical pharmacist, I aim to work at the intersection of pharmacotherapy, patient care, and clinical decision‑making. I am motivated by the responsibility of optimizing medication therapy, ensuring patient safety, and contributing to multidisciplinary healthcare teams. My academic training in pharmacology, medicinal chemistry, and clinical research has prepared me to approach complex therapeutic challenges with precision and scientific rigor. I am particularly drawn to clinical environments where I can apply advanced pharmacological knowledge to real‑world patient cases and support individualized treatment strategies.

In parallel, I aspire to build a career as a Medical Science Liaison, a role that allows me to bridge scientific innovation with clinical practice. My MSL project at the University at Buffalo, where I developed and delivered an integrated scientific presentation on central hypothyroidism (CeH), confirmed my passion for translating complex scientific data into clear, clinically relevant insights. The MSL profession aligns with my strengths in scientific communication, critical evaluation of emerging therapies, and collaboration with healthcare professionals. It offers a platform to contribute to medical education, support evidence‑based practice, and engage with cutting‑edge developments in the pharmaceutical industry.

Graduate school interests

I am pursuing graduate studies in pharmacy to deepen my expertise in pharmacotherapy, clinical decision‑making, and translational science. I am particularly motivated by programs that integrate advanced pharmacology, patient‑centered care, and research, as these directly support my long‑term goals in clinical pharmacy and as a Medical Science Liaison. My academic background and international experience have prepared me to thrive in a rigorous, research‑driven graduate environment.
