About
After a rocky start to my college career, I joined the US Air Force in 2006. I served as an Arabic Linguist until I was honorably discharged in 2011. I was a stay at home mom to three young boys for five years before deciding to return to college in 2016 and earn a Bachelor's in History. I am incredibly excited to have the opportunity to continue my education and rejoin the workforce upon graduation.

Goals and interests
- Career goal
I am currently interested in seeking a place in a law school after I earn my degree or possibly working with an international refugee relief organization. I have a strong passion to help members of our society who are often unheard or pushed to the margins.
- Outside the classroom
When I have free time I love to read, especially science fiction and history. I also love to bake for my family and friends. Riding my bike and doing yoga are two of my favorite ways to stay active.
