About

Twenty years ago I earned an A.S. degree in Business Administration. I then placed my education on hold, to raise and homeschool my children (K-12). Once my youngest became a high school senior, I decided it was time to shift my focus back to my education and career. In August of 2020, I enrolled in a B.A.S. program, majoring in Organizational Management. Once I receive my B.A.S, I plan to continue my education and obtain a Master's Degree in Organizational Leadership.

My company also provides counsel to religious non-profits in the areas of ethical business practices, organizational growth and conflict resolution. Graduate school interests

I am interested in seeking a Master's Degree in Organizational Leadership.

Outside the classroom

I enjoy singing, attending musical theater, hiking, and interior decorating.

  • supervisor

Family, Faith and Freedom was a church school. I was a classroom supervisor and offered support to homeschool families.

  • computer technician

Data Tech is a family owned business, started by my father around 1993. At the age of 15, I began working in the office as a receptionist, but quickly advanced to building PCs, network servers and workstations. I also provided technical phone support. By the time I was 17, I began solo on-site support visits. I assisted with installing networks, which included building, repairing and installing network cables, ports and patch panels throughout office buildings. I still work with the company from time to time.

Volunteering

  • In the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic, I helped develop and begin a religious homeschool support group for parents new to the home education system. Currently, I develop individualized educational plans for students entering the program. I supervise homeschooled students' progress and assist home educators in maintaining proper academic records, per their state's homeschool requirements.
