• Gain knowledge about biomedical engineering problems related to systems, including cardiovascular, musculoskeletal, orthopedic, ophthalmic, and respiratory systems. Obtain deep understanding of healthcare and medical research with focus on human physiology, radiotherapy, and medical imaging. Leverage in-depth engineering knowledge and skills for drug development & delivery, develop medical device for better diagnosis and achieve affordable healthcare among stressed economies.

• Carried out some research in partial fulfilment of the requirement for the courses taken such as ECSE 441- Applied engineering Statistics on the topic “Rate of COVID-19 related Hospitalizations among different Race/Ethnic Nationalities in California from March 2020 – April 2021” wherein I used statistical tools to analyze and establish that the Blacks and Hispanics/Latino patients were more likely than White patients to get the infection and consequently be hospitalized. I also worked within a group for a team project in partial fulfillment of the course EBME 440 – Translational Research for Biomedical Engineers on the topic: Injectable Articular Cartilage Therapy.

• Completed NSF, IDBR Type A project proposal for MEMS & Biomanufacturing course, and NIH R21 style project proposal for Polymers in Medicine course.
