Hi, my name is Polina and I am a senior student in Windermere Prep School. Usually, this type of summaries begins with all of the achievements and goals a person has completed during his high school years. However, apart from the academic or extracurricular activities that I have done, like maintaining a high GPA of 3.9 or being a member of different students' organizations such as student council or UNICEF, I want to briefly highlight one important thing that hardened me and helped me to step out of my comfort zone - moving around all the time. Living without my family in a different city starting from 13 years old and then moving abroad to live in the boarding school is a crucial chapter of my journey. New people, new place and new responsibilities made me flexible together with being an open-minded - skills that cost more than any other knowledge that you can get in school! Therefore, I think my biggest success is hidden deeper than simple socially accepted "achievements".
