PREEJA SAM

I was born and bought up in India, completed my schooling, and BSc Nursing in India with a GPA of 3.8 from Christian College of Nursing of Dr. M.G.R Medical University, Chennai in the year 2000. Currently, I am in Masters in Nursing Family Nurse Practitioner program at Advent Health University at Orlando, Florida. I also work at Advent Health Hospital Orlando Main campus as an RN at Surgical Services, pre, and phase 2 post-op, doing perianeasthesia nursing services. I am fortunate to do all my education in Christian faith-based schools, which helped me to grow in compassion for others and became a service-minded person and a compassionate Registered Nurse. I was also fortunate to work as an RN in four different countries, India, Kuwait, Canada, and the USA. In India I worked as a nursing tutor, in Kuwait I worked as an RN at the Kuwait Ministry of health, in Canada, I worked as an RN at the largest trauma center Sunnybrook Health sciences, and at Markham Stouffville Hospital, Toronto., and also functioned as a facilitator for workshops at CARE center for Internationally Educated Nurses, Toronto. Currently I a full-time RN, full-time MSN FNP student, full-time mother of three teenagers, and a full-time housewife. God enabled me to manage everything together and be a role model to my kids and co-workers.
