About
Hello,
My name is Priscilla Torres. I am from Weslaco, TX, and graduated with a bachelor's in social studies composite with a teacher certification from the University of Texas Rio Grande Valley. I am also obtaining a Master of Library Science Degree (MLS) at the Texas Woman's University (TWU). My MLS will assist my aspirations to continue to grow as an educator and have the opportunity to expand my career.

Goals and interests
- Career goal
One career goal is to become a public school librarian for an elementary school, where I can continue to support a love for learning in children and grow their confidence. Another career goal is to become a law librarian. As a law librarian, research helps deepen knowledge on topics, as well as brings to light new ideas and possibilities for individuals.
- Graduate school interests
A master of library science (MLS) is valuable to me and will help me deepen my knowledge as a historian, educator, and scholar.
- Outside the classroom
I enjoy reading historical fiction novels or documentaries.
