Rachael Brown

I’m an island girl at heart and this attribute leads me to be extremely resourceful in everything I do. My hometown Nassau, Bahamas truly exposed me to tourism which is the most lucrative industry and it is definitely integrated into the culture. I believe that having an optimistic attitude and positive aura are strong pillars of my personality. My ability to use sound judgement and think through problems critically has lead me to be a person who can handle pressure under stressful situations. One of my most favorable skills is my ability to plan and organize events and projects effectively.
My international move to Nashville, Tennessee to pursue my bachelor’s degree, lead me to adapt and adjust to different cultural norms. I attend the illustrious Fisk University where I am majoring in business Administration with a concentration in Financial Economics. The tools Fisk University gave me paved the way for me to excel in or out the class room environment. While in undergrad, I held leadership positions in various organizations such as a Student Government Senator, President of the Caribbean Student Association, Global Impact Chairmen for Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority Inc., and Activities Coordinator for Rotaract Club.
I have high hopes and expectations for the future.
