About

  • The University of New Mexico

    Psychology/ Criminology

    2018 – 2021

Honors and awards

  • dean's list

I was given this for having a GPA over 3.5

  • leadership award

I was given this certificate by the African American Student Services at UNM for my leadership skills that I always presented.

Goals and interests

Career goal

I chose psychology because I want to become a therapist. I've experienced a lot of trauma as a child and in Africa therapy isn't a big thing and mental health is not something that a lot of people know about. However, when my family moved to the States I thought it was interesting and having someone to talk to and help understand life better made me realize that I would like to give to my community.

Graduate school interests

I hope that after I graduate I could go to a great school of psychology so that I can learn more.

Outside the classroom

I love music and dancing. I love talking to people and playing my piano sometimes. I also love hanging out with friends and trying new foods.
