About
I am a fourth level nursing student at the University of Texas at Tyler, Palestine campus. Anticipated graduation date is December 16, 2016; in which I hope to go on to be either a ER or a CVICU nurse. I would like to accumulate as much experience and certifications as possible in my first 1-2 years working because becoming a traveling nurse is something I would like to experience.

Goals and interests
- Career goal
I graduate from the University of Texas at Tyler, Palestine campus Nursing Program on December 16, 2016; and I could not be more excited. I hope to enter into an internship with a Cardiovascular ICU, I do not have a definite hospital in mind but there are a couple I have had my eye on; such as Baylor and Lewis and Peaches. If a CVICU is unavailable I would like try for an internship with the ER. I like both of these units for the fast pace and intricate skills required. Here recently I have been contemplating working for a couple of years to gain experience and obtain certifications and then becoming a traveling nurse so that I can do what I love as well as see the United States. I do intend to go back to school for my Masters in Nursing but I would like to gain experience and establish my career before hand.
- Graduate school interests
I have been looking into becoming a Nurse Practitioner in the field of emergency medicine and intend to break from my education for a few years before going back.
