About

Rachel Hudspeth is a dedicated student, having pursued dual credit her senior year of high school in order to get a jump start on her college career. Although she had many difficulties deciding a major, she settled on what has always called out to her-teaching. She has a desire to provide education to elementary level students, and encourage them to dream big.

Goals and interests

Career goal

I intend on becoming a teacher when I graduate, hopefully 2nd or 3rd grade.

Graduate school interests

I would be interested in possibly pursing a masters in order to make bigger changes within the Texas Education decisions, including making an impact on the student life and encouraging a more satisfying and impactful difference to drive students to pursing their dreams.

Outside the classroom

My hobbies include Brazilian Jiu Jitsu at Gracie Barra in Webster, TX, painting and calligraphy styled art (mainly word art), volunteering in my Youth Group as well as hosting multiple Bible Studies for women in my area, playing Dungeons and Dragons with my good friends, playing lots of Animal Crossing as well as other video games, writing my novels which has been a major project of mine since the 9th grade, and just getting involved wherever I can in order to serve my community and friends.
