Raven Maddox

I am currently attending Middle Georgia State College in order to obtain an Associates degree in nursing. My passion for nursing began at a young age when my brother and I would take care of one another when we were sick. I have always had a need for caring for others while making sure to brighten their day. My overall goal is to become a midwife and Women's Health nurse practitioner. The thought of being apart of a special day in a families life is what drove me to choose the field of OBGYN. I get to be the one to be there to whole pregnancy while handing the mother her new born child after delivery. I have recently became interested in being a women's health practitioner when i realized the emotional stress and many health issues women have more so than men. I feel these issue are not being brought to light or taken seriously in women my age like it should be. I want to shed light into these issue while helping women out in the process.
