About
I am a graduate student in Civil Engineering at Purdue University Northwest with a strong passion for leading sustainable, resilient, and dependable civil engineering projects. My academic concentration is in Transportation Engineering, and I am driven by a purpose-centered commitment to infrastructure that enhances mobility, safety, and quality of life. I strive for academic excellence while maintaining a proactive approach to leadership and research, seeking solutions that address real-world engineering challenges and long-term societal needs. My intended professional path is in Transportation Engineering and environmental infrastructure, with particular interest in transportation systems and wastewater treatment. I am motivated to contribute to projects that improve public infrastructure performance while promoting environmental sustainability and community well-being. Through a career in engineering practice and public-oriented projects, I aim to support infrastructure systems that are efficient, resilient, and adaptable to future demands. My graduate studies have strengthened my interest in sustainable transportation planning, infrastructure systems analysis, and the integration of innovative, data-driven approaches in civil engineering. I am particularly interested in research and applied learning that bridge transportation engineering with environmental systems, including wastewater and sanitation infrastructure. These interests reflect my desire to develop technically sound solutions that are both environmentally responsible and socially impactful.
I have been recognized for strong academic performance and leadership potential through my nomination to the Honor Society and active involvement in professional organizations such as ASCE, ACI, and PMI . These experiences have reinforced my commitment to ethical practice, collaboration, and continuous professional growth. Beyond academics, I value balance and personal development through mentoring, community engagement, fitness, and continuous self-learning, particularly in emerging engineering technologies. Overall, I aspire to be an engineer who combines technical excellence with leadership and service, contributing to infrastructure systems that support sustainable development and resilient communities. Membership in the Honor Society would further strengthen my commitment to excellence while providing opportunities to grow as a scholar, leader, and professional.
