About
My name is Reanne Reola, and I am a student athlete who plays women's basketball for Citrus College. I will be graduating in June with my associate's degree in communication studies. I have earned an athletic and academic scholarship to the University of Saint Katherine in San Marcos, CA. I will better my education, while still playing the sport I love. I am looking to apply for scholarships because at this university my full tuition would be payed for, but I will need to pay for my housing. Moreover, outside of the classroom and court, I train and coach children from ages 6-13 years of age. I love to motivate these kids and be a source of positivity in their lives.
I can also use ASL to communicate with others, but I am not fluent.

Goals and interests
- Career goal
My intended job path is to use my education to have a career is sports media and broadcasting. Once I do this, I will use my platform to reach my ultimate goal of using my voice to motivate others . We live in a society that is so negative, that I want to bring a positive light to those who are in need. To help others and to use my voice whether it be by speaking out or writing is what I want to achieve.

I do have grad school interests. I want to earn my master's degree, since it has always been a goal of mine.
- Outside the classroom
On my own time, I love to write. I journal my thoughts, Bible study, and even write in a journal called "letters to my grandma" (to my grandma who passed away in 2021. I also sketch, practicing different kinds of fonts such as elegant cursive, calligraphy, old English, etc.
