Hello, my name is Rebeca Santiago, I am 19 years old and I’m a national Puerto Rican, I’m been diagnosed at the age of 3 years old with moderate to severe Autism. I live in the valley of Texas for 6 years, I’ve move here after Puerto Rico got hit by Hurricane Maria. It’s a very hard and sad to experience it, I had changed my environment and leave my family behind because its only my mom and I. Although it is hard to leave the country with my condition has made changes complicated for me, but I’ve adapted thanks to my professors and my friends I met after I start living here.
