About

My name is Rebecca Redinger. I am originally from Madison, WI, but moved to Chicago, IL in 2003 for school and have lived here ever since. I received my B.A. in History from North Park University and a M.A. in Public History from Loyola University. As you can see, I love history, but no luck in the job search, I’ve decided to shift my focus to Library Science (which was my dream-job as a 10-year-old!). I am currently enrolled at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, taking online course through the School of Information Science. When I am not homework, I am working at the Chicago Metro History Education Center, a non-profit organization that runs the National History Day program for the Chicagoland area. My goal is to someday work in a public library in children and youth services.
