About
I am currently a Fashion Merchandising and Retail Studies student at Louisiana Tech with the intention of become a wedding dress designer. I grew up in Ruston, Louisiana and then moved to Bossier City, Louisiana when I was eight years old. I went to Calvary Baptist Academy until fourth grade and in the fifth grade my parents decided to homeschool my sister Lauren and I. We used the A Beka Academy curriculum and were able to get a high school diploma due to the strict accredited program. When I was growing up I always dreamed of having my own clothing store or line; but it was not until Andy Cline at Louisiana Tech told me about the Fashion Merchandising program at Tech did I know that the wedding industry was what I wanted to go into. I have fallen in love with the program and I can not wait to see what the future holds.

I hope to become a wedding dress designer or work in the fashion industry as a buyer for a large company.

After I complete my bachelors in Fashion Merchandise and Retail Studies, I plan to get my master in Exhibition Design from FIT in NYC.
