Rebekah Adkins

Since I was a child, I have always loved spending time outside and exploring nature. I have maintained a love for botany and zoology throughout my life, and enjoy hiking and collecting samples. Throughout high school I was part of a cross country team, and I plan to stay dedicated to running throughout my life. As an art major, I have a passion for creativity of all sorts. Personally, I enjoy expressing myself through drawing and sculpture. Music has also been a significant part of my life since I was little-- both my parents are professional musicians in the Dallas Symphony, so I have been classically trained as a pianist since age four. Though my focus has since shifted to visual arts, I still enjoy playing for myself (though I no longer compete or prepare repertoire for recitals).
