About
A transforming period of my life that sparked personal growth would be around 2020-2021. I was 14 years old and entered my first year of High School. COVID-19 was on the rise, making it dangerous to go outside. This resulted in a bad start for my Freshman year. While at home, I endured struggles with deadlines, communication, and attention span issues. Minor problems in the past suddenly became an apparent hurdle to overcome at a critical time of growth. I had to adapt to overcome my circumstances in various ways, including mindsets, methods, and implementations. Failure was not an option. These techniques eventually became a lifestyle for me to focus on self-improvement in all aspects of life.
From this new development in mindset, I started my journey of improvement with deadlines. In my Sophomore year, everything was returning to normal. I put in a significant effort to make sure all my work was distinctive from the rest of my peers. During this time, I was attending College and High School classes to obtain my Associate's degree in Information Technology after graduating from High School. The High School and College program's increased workload induced immense stress. Thankfully, I persevered through the difficulties and achieved my goal of managing my high school and college life effectively. This milestone was a form of personal growth and a manifestation of my initial goal. The progress of my high school and college management. I diligently worked on improving my attention span. It became common practice to reduce my social media usage significantly, and I diligently studied ways to improve my attention span.
Furthermore, I found time to play on the High School Soccer team, volunteer with the local police department to clean Chesapeake Bays' Watersheds, donate back-to-school supplies in South Carolina, and feed 300 + less fortunate in communities in Baltimore and Washington D.C. Lastly, I was 1 of 3 students selected for the High School work-study program at the National Security Agency (NSA). I was the only one chosen to work alongside the Director of NSA in the Executive Staff position and am now trusted with the nation's highest responsibilities. The results of my research involved creating new habits like reading, exercise, and proper sleep, which have proven their mettle. I will continue to display the same resolve and determination on this journey. I plan to expand my knowledge and become a beacon of light for the rest of the world upon acceptance to your University/College program.
