About

I am a highly skilled Human and Social Services professional with more than 15 years extensive experience working with extremely diverse populations (homeless, substance abuse, HIV/AIDS). I have developed programs and implemented clinical policies and procedures, assuring that all state and federal regulations are met. I provide outstanding service both clinical and administrative. I train, oversee and supervise staff and apply strict quality assurance, leading to ongoing career progression and responsibilities. I possess a strong understanding of and empathy with a broad range of client challenges, resulting in superb client retention as well as increase of clientele. I am seeking Social Work/Program Director position in an exceptional hospital, social service agency, or clinic setting.
I am also working on my Memoir entitled "Picking up the Pieces...How I Turned my Mess into my Message." I am extremely passionate and believe I have been given the gift to work with this very difficult diverse population. So much so that I am in the process of opening up a Non Profit transitional house for women who have completed at least 90 days of substance abuse treatment and are at the risk of becoming homeless in the South Bronx area of New York.
