Goals and interests

Career goal

I am currently pursuing my bachelor’s degree with a strong commitment to academic excellence, leadership, and service. My long‑term goal is to enter the mental health field as both a clinical psychologist and, ultimately, a medical doctor specializing in clinical psychiatry. I am dedicated to advancing my education so I can provide compassionate, evidence‑based support to individuals and communities. As a member of an Honor Society, I strive to embody the values of integrity, scholarship, and meaningful contribution in everything I pursue.

Graduate school interests

I plan to pursue graduate studies that deepen my understanding of human behavior, mental health, and clinical practice. My primary goal is to complete a doctoral program that prepares me for advanced work in psychology and psychiatry. I am especially interested in programs that integrate research, clinical training, and compassionate, evidence‑based care. Long‑term, I intend to attend medical school to earn my Doctor of Medicine degree and specialize in clinical psychiatry. I am committed to developing the knowledge and skills necessary to serve individuals and communities with excellence, integrity, and empathy.

Outside the classroom

I have a deep love for the arts and creative expression. Singing has always been one of my favorite outlets, allowing me to connect emotionally, unwind, and express myself in a meaningful way. I also enjoy drawing and exploring different forms of art, which give me space to be imaginative and reflective. Music is a constant part of my life—whether I’m listening, creating, or learning something new, it inspires me and fuels my creativity.

Travel is another passion of mine. I love experiencing new cultures, meeting new people, and seeing the world from different perspectives. Exploring new places helps me grow personally and broadens my understanding of the world, which is especially meaningful as I pursue a future in psychology and mental health.
