Goals and interests

Career goal

Anywhere I can create art and make a positive impact on those around me. The theater, studio, nature, school, and part time work to pay what my scholarships cannot. That will be my path and after my Bachelors I wish to pursue a Masters in OT or talk Therapy.

Graduate school interests

Medical school, occupational or talk therapist to help those with similar mental and physical issues to my health struggles. I am hoping to make it through my bachelors debt free and afford my meals, housing and medical bills using my part time job and my scholarship awards.

Outside the classroom

In addition to taking theater and ceramics as courses, I spent time in both the studio and PAC for 5-6 hours every day. I am alway working on the current 2-3 plays which I have acted in all of since my sophomore year, by the esteemed drama teacher director, Coleman Raison. In ceramics, I create extra pieces outside of class as well to keep my skills sharp. I have chronic health issues linked to PCOS, and despite missing school due to unbearable pain and sickness, I still work and memorize lines when I have to stay home. I enjoy giving guidance to my fellow art students in the grades below, who are just as unsure as I once was. I feel that sharing ideas and art is important and relevant to remind the world that we humans are all artists, and artists continue to thrive in the era of AI "art" because only the human mind has a soul, the source of any artistic or otherwise gift.
