About
I am a pre-veterinary and Animal Science student at Oklahoma State University with a strong passion for animal health, leadership, and community service. My hands-on veterinary experience includes serving as an extern at North Tyler Vet, where I assisted with surgeries, anesthesia, equine dentistry, fertility testing, and patient care for both large and small animals. I also bring leadership and mentoring experience from coaching young athletes at TX East Gymnastics and providing full-time childcare for families.
I graduated from Grace Community School, where I was actively involved in varsity cheer leadership, yearbook, choir, and volunteer service. Currently, I am involved in campus life through the Pre-Vet community and membership in Kappa Kappa Gamma. My long-term goal is to become a veterinarian specializing in large animal and reproductive medicine, combining technical expertise with compassionate care and strong client relationships.

Volunteering
-
I help at the animal shelter by walking dogs and giving them playtime. I spend time with the cats too—snuggling them, giving treats, and playing with sensory toys to help them get used to people, since many come in as strays or can be feral. The biggest challenge is making sure each animal gets enough attention because they need companionship and care. I also help keep the shelter clean by cleaning kennels and washing blankets, food bowls, and other supplies. A clean, organized space helps the animals, staff, and visitors who come to see them.
