About
Born in Brazil, one of the most important countries in food production, I am fascinating for food production, more precisely by animal production. There are a large number of hungry people in the word and, with the rapidly increase on the global population, this is a challenge that we must exceed. I am currently a PhD student in Animal Science at Michigan State Univesity and I believe that with more research and developing new process it is possible to increase the animal production and sustainability.

Goals and interests
- Career goal
I have always dreamed about a top management role in the animal nutrition industry.
- Graduate school interests
My research focus is to improve the profitability and reduce the environmental impact of the dairy production. In order to achieve these goals, I work with the feed efficiency. My specific goals is to understand and explain why have difference in the residual feed intake (a measure of feed efficiency) among the cows and propose methods to select them. Over more, develop techniques to improve the general feed efficiency in the herd.

I love read, outdoor activites, triathlon, travel, and restaurants.
