About
Bienvenido a mi perfil! I am a recent graduate of the University of North Carolina Wilmington. I obtained my bachelor's in International Studies with a minor in Nonprofit Management. I will begin my master's in International Relations at Florida International University this August. I spent six months studying Spanish and Latin American culture in Chile. Apart from my studies, I have completed numerous nonprofit projects including, but not limited to: teaching ESL to adults and children, hosting fundraisers for Kid's Making It and The Humane Society, tutoring through The Boy's and Girl's Club, hosting a clothing drive for the homeless of Chicago, and helping with organizational management for the Salvation Army. I am passionate about what I study, and I have the objective to be not only in the government sector, but the nonprofit sector as well. I am a woman of many skills, talents, and aspirations; Yet, I continue to allow my plans to grow exponentially.

- Outside the classroom
In my free time, I am an avid outdoor explorer and local newspaper reader. As one can tell by my colleges of choice, I am rarely found too far from the beach. I enjoy surfing, kayaking, and paddleboarding. In addition, I am a singer/songwriter of many years. I have performed in four cities across the state of North Carolina, and I enjoy incorporating my ukulele in my teaching.
