Sadie Salas

Sadie Salas is a hardworking and creative student from New Braunfels, Texas. She has been a dedicated dancer since childhood and has earned honors including Texas State Solo Champion and National Champion Soloist. Sadie has served as an officer on her school dance team for several years and also teaches ballet, jazz, and dance team prep at American Dance Company, where she helps younger dancers grow in skill and confidence.
A member of the National Honor Society and FACS, Sadie balances her academic success with her passion for giving back. She is the founder of The Solo Experience (www.thesoloexperience.org), a nonprofit that provides dancers with choreography, costumes, mentorship, and competition fees so that everyone has the chance to perform. Through this work, Sadie has learned that the best way to serve others is by using her own gifts to create opportunities for them.
She will attend Oklahoma State University in the fall to study Marketing – Professional Selling and Sales Management, where she plans to continue expanding The Solo Experience to reach even more dancers.
