About

I am currently a nursing student at the University of Southern Mississippi in Hattiesburg, MS. I am studying to be a nurse so that I may be able to help those who are sick and/or injured. I grew up in Clinton , MS and I am the daughter of a General Manager at Aaron's Sales and Lease and a Human Resources consultant with Irby Electrical. They have instilled in me at a young age the importance of helping others which is why I believe that nursing has always appealed to me. In my childhood and all through high school I have been a Girl Scout and a member of various community service organizations. After high school I chose to attend Southern Miss because of its strong nursing program and its terrific Luckyday Leadership Program which I am currently a member. Since becoming a college student I have joined several clubs/organizations such as the Student Alumni Association (SAA), participate as a dancer for Edge Dance Collective, and a Luckyday Scholar. I am striving to make a difference for others as a nurse in any way I can.
