About

In my personal life as I sit here, surrounded by my two beloved rabbits and three colorful parakeets, I am hit with a wave of emotions. We are about to embark on a journey that will last for the next two years. The journey is set to begin on August 17th but my college orientation at Delhi on August 19. As I look at my pets, I am reminded of the life struggles that we may encounter along the way. But just like how I take care of them, I am determined to take care of myself and overcome any obstacles that may come my way.
One of the biggest challenges that I have faced in my personal life is my struggle with math. No matter how hard I try, I find myself getting stuck on one problem for hours on end. The frustration and confusion can be overwhelming, and it is easy to get lost in the process of trying to figure it out. However, through this struggle, I have learned a valuable lesson – asking for help is not a sign of weakness, but rather a sign of strength. I have found that seeking help from my professors or visiting the math lab has been the best way to understand the material. It is important to remember that we all have our own strengths and weaknesses, and it is okay to ask for help when needed.
Another aspect of my personal life that I have had to navigate is my difficulty with reading and writing. However, I have found tools that have helped me overcome this struggle. Whether it is using text-to-speech or speech-to-text, I have found ways to make my homework manageable. I have learned to listen to my assignments to ensure that they make sense and reflect my understanding. Although it may be challenging, I have come to accept that sometimes what makes sense to me may not make sense to others. I take care of my assignments by putting in the effort to ensure they are done to the best of my abilities.
One thing I have always admired about my pets is their calming and nurturing nature. They have taught me the importance of looking after others and being selfless. However, in the midst of taking care of others, I have sometimes forgotten to take care of myself. I have become so accustomed to putting others before me that I have put my own well-being on the back burner. But I am learning to prioritize my own needs and take care of myself while caring for others. It is a balancing act, but I am determined to become better at it every day.

Goals and interests

Career goal

I am extremely excited for my future career as I have my sights set on working on cruise ships. The idea of traveling and experiencing new cultures while getting paid truly intrigues me. However, I am also a realist and understand the importance of having a backup plan. That's why I have always been interested in owning my restaurant. The thought of being my own boss and creating a successful business is something that excites me. I am determined to make my dreams a reality and have a strong belief in my own abilities. I cannot wait to see where my future takes me, whether it be on a cruise ship or as a successful restaurant owner.

Outside the classroom

Hiking has always been one of my biggest passions and hobbies. From a young age, I've always been drawn to the great outdoors and the feeling of being surrounded by nature. It's almost like the kitchen, a place that always felt like home to me. However, unlike the kitchen, hiking doesn't require any order or organization. It allows me to let go and enjoy the simple moments. Of course, I still have my parakeets and rabbits that keep me company, but I also enjoy spending my free time doing things like photos, origami, crafting, and making things from scratch. I love learning new techniques and skills to create something beautiful and unique.
