Savannah Richardson

I am currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Multimedia Journalism while also studying in Marketing Communications and Graphic Design at Simpson College. My academic journey has been driven by my excellence, evident by my placement on DMACC's Dean's list while being a high school student and my grades throughout my first semester at college, all A's. I have already developed deep critical skills about multimedia communication, which I am eager to apply throughout college and professional contexts.

In addition to my academics, I have been working since I turned 16. I work at a local daycare five nights a week and have been for the past 3 years. I also nanny in the summer, and participate in a work-study at the local junior high. The opportunities have allowed me to learn so much about my self and have provided me with lifeskill that I can use in any profession.

My personal achievements include graduating high school w/ a 4.0 GPA, receiving many valuable scholarships because of my academics, being admitted into the honors program at Simpson college. These accolades have motivated me to continue striving for excellence in all aspects of my life. I am confident that my academic, professional, and personal experiences have prepared me for the challenges and opportunities that lie ahead, and I am excited about the prospect of continuing my education and contributing to the world of communications in meaningful ways.
