About

I am a Pre-Med student at the University of Utah and am currently in my second semester as a Freshman. I have a great interest in Biology and Exercise and Sports Science. I was in Guatemala for two years serving the people, and learning about their culture and trying to help them progress and make right decisions, and I am fluent in Spanish thanks to that experience. I am hard working in everything that I do. I graduated as a Valedictorian from Mountain Crest High School in 2013 and am doing my best to continue with that in college.

Goals and interests

Career goal: I am studying to become a physician. I am sure that I want to go into Pediatrics because I like helping children and families progress and would consider it an honor to be able to help them. But, the athlete within me has always had a passion for all sports and I have a great desire to help athletes recover quickly from injury so that they can continue to follow their dreams. I would love to combine both of these passions and become an MD in Sports Medicine with an emphasis in children.
Graduate school interests: I am looking forward to attending Medical School after I finish with all my Undergraduate requirements.
Outside the classroom: I am an All-American triathlete. I love to go hiking and see the beautiful creations of nature.
