About
My name is Senay Abrha, I am from East Africa, Eritrea, currently living in Columbus Ohio attending Ohio Dominican University. Growing up in Eritrea has made me become an ambitious and goal-oriented person. My passions and desires are to diagnose and treat diseases that occur in the oral cavities. I pledged and committed early on to becoming a General Dentist. I believe that the greatest quality is seeking to serve others and I can do that by working hard and achieving my goal. Besides, I am a student that does not only persistently works hard academically, but also I constantly try to improve my own community's quality of life by doing volunteer work.

Goals and interests
- Career goal
General Dentist
- Graduate school interests
My focus as an undergraduate student has always been with an eye towards graduate school and a career as a professional Dentist. I plan to attend the school of Dentistry and become a General Dentist. This profession would give me the opportunity to give back to the community by serving people who suffer oral diseases.
- Outside the classroom
Some of my hobbies are arts and crafts, especially ceramics. Although am not the best at it, I enjoy making things from scratch with my hands. I also like fixing broken electronics for instance phones or TV’s. I like to think of my self as an outgoing person, and spending time with friends and socializing is important to me. Another unusual hobby I have is collecting currency. I have been fortunate enough to see over seven counties (most in Africa) and I find collecting currency exciting. Further more, I enjoy being physically active, and spending time playing sports like basketball and soccer keeps me fit.
