About

I am currently a high school junior at Independence High School in Frisco, Texas. I am a part of the band, in which I have been both the mellophone section leader since Sophomore year as well as the principal french horn player of the top band since Freshman year. My passion for horn extends to the Greater Dallas Youth Orchestra, in which I am also the principal horn of the Wind Symphony. I have garnered attention online through my horn account, which has accumulated over 1.5 million views and 1.5k followers. I love challenging myself through intensive and rigorous courses, especially STEM/technology focused classes. Maintaining my academics, I have scored a 5 on seven AP exams, a 4 on two, and am currently taking 6 AP/college level classes. I have also upheld a 4.0 weighted GPA and am ranked 11th in my class of 400. This summer, I am interning at the Computer Vision and Multimodal Computing Research Lab at UTD, alongside with 12 PhD students. I want to expand my knowledge of technology in college by studying AI and how to ensure it's ethical implementations and development.
